Photoreport: Zombies; and other Stranger Things
It was this time of the year again, for the annual Zombie Walk event; this is always arranged for the last Saturday before the end of the Carnival, which was last Saturday in Greece.
You can read more about the Zombie Walk phenomenon in my blog entry for last year’s event. This time the general theme for the event was based on the hugely popular “Stranger Things” 2016 TV series.
Response has again been huge among fans and cosplayers and probably even larger than last year. For yet another time I was personally impressed with the imagination and level of work and commitment from all participants. Naturally, the general spirit was one of excitement and happy celebration, despite (or, perhaps, because of?) the morbid nature of the make-up and costumes. A final noteworthy matter is that more and more younger people, preteens and kids, seem to find a creative outlet with that kind of events.
Here is a short gallery from the Zombie Walk 2017 which now belongs to history; let’s stay curious about what awaits us next year!
