The Cinematic Street project: adding B&W

The Cinematic Street project: adding B&W

It’s that time again, for posting an update to one of my longest-termed, as well as most popular projects: my Cinematic Street Frames project.

This time I’m adding a few photos in B&W. My intention, and one hopes I got it through, was that of “film noir” kind of look. Again, elements such as directional light, cinematic angles and framing, etc, are present here. In technical terms, the pictures started by using the ACROS film simulation in Fuji cameras, and working from there to achieve the desired look.

I believe this is a worthy addition to my gallery and I intent to pursue this option further. The full gallery is updated here.

The gear report: the whole project is done with my Fuji gear; these photos in particular were shot with the X-Pro2 and 10-24mm, 35mm and 56mm Fujinon lenses.
