Cinematic Street Frames update

Cinematic Street Frames update

It’s time for some generous update to my ongoing Cinematic Street Frames project, introduced some time ago.

Here are some more pictures for this project, which are also added to the project gallery:

This time I decided to include photos shot in another common cinematic aspect ratio, 1.85:1. This gives the opportunity, and flexibility, to produce more interesting framing in some photos. For anyone not accustomed to cinematic aspect rations, 1.85:1 is slightly wider than the common 16:9 ratio for video.

I’m also thinking of including some “film noir” shots in future installments, though I haven’t decided on the particular format yet. In any case, this project overall has expanded my Street Photography horizons, and provided me with enough inspiration to pursue more ideas and concepts. Hope you find it interesting too!
